The 52.8 metre explorer motor yacht Latitude, jointly listed for by Burgess and Edmiston & Company, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Jurgen Koch of Fraser.
Latitude was built by German yard JG Hitzler as an ice classed supply vessel with delivery in 1973. She was converted into a superyacht between 2003 and 2006 with an extensive two-year interior and exterior refit in 2020.
Latitude was asking $17,500,000.
So far, Latitude has cruised to Brazil, Panama, Costa Rica, the Galapagos, the Caribbean and the east coast of the USA. She has even completed three Pacific crossings, from Panama to Tahiti in French Polynesia, and has visited Fiji.
Latitude can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, consisting of a master suite on the bridge deck and three doubles and two twins on the main deck, all with en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for 15 crew.
The main deck saloon is panelled in Brazilian cedar and is comfortably furnished with two L-shaped settees, occasional chairs and a full wet bar while forward is a dining area with seating for 10 guests. The main galley, freezer room and crew mess are aft, completely separated from guest areas. The crew galley and crew mess are also on the main deck while the lower deck is dedicated to crew accommodation and machinery.
Other on board highlights include the 18,000 litre fresh water swimming pool and the helipad to help guests explore even further.
Twin 938hp Deutz MWM diesel engines power her to a comfortable cruising speed of nine knots and she has an outstanding range of 10,000 nautical miles.
