3 Thin Blue Line motorcycle club members killed in crash with alleged drunk driver - New York Post

Three members of a pro-police motorcycle club died during a crash with a drunk driver Saturday in the Texas Hill Country.

The Texas-based group, the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, was out for an afternoon ride on Highway 16 to celebrate the club’s anniversary when an intoxicated driver crossed over the center stripe and struck the group, according to the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office.

Members Joseph Paglia, a retired police officer; Jerry Wayne Harbour, a US Army veteran; and Michael White, also an Army veteran, died in the crash, an NBC affiliate reported.

Nine other bikers were injured.

“Please join Thin Blue Line LEMC and Law Enforcement from around country in praying for these brave men and their families,” David Weed, a spokesman for the motorcycle group, told the station in a statement.

“These men who spent their lives serving our country and their communities with valor and honor.”

The driver in the crash has been taken into custody for multiple counts of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxication assault, the sheriff’s office said.
