(NBC) - Ford is recalling more than half a million Explorer sport utility vehicles.
The recall covers 2016 through 2019 models.
Retention pins could loosen and allow roof rail covers to detach from the vehicle.
There have been 11 reports of rail covers detaching. No injuries have been reported.
Ford will notify owners of affected vehicles in June.
