Beachfront balcony collapses in Malibu, California, injuring at least 7 people - NBC News

LOS ANGELES — At least two people were critically injured Saturday after a balcony collapsed at a beachfront property in Malibu, California, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Five other victims with minor to moderate injuries were treated at the scene, officials said, after initially saying in a series of tweets that four people were taken to trauma centers.

It was not immediately clear what caused the collapse or how many people were gathered at the home on Pacific Coast Highway.
