Television survivalist and man who once stayed at a hotel while pretending to survive in the desert, Bear Grylls, is opening up his first Bear Grylls Explorer Camp on the UAE's highest mountain in Ras Al Khaimah this October.
The world's very first Bear Grylls Explorers Camp is coming to Ras Al Khaimah, together with Bear Grylls Survival Academy's very first camp lodging, and it's located on Jebel Jais.
Set to open this October, the globally-renowned Bear Grylls survival course is set to debut in the Middle East, run by UK specialists trained at the Survival Academy. Travelers can expect to be exposed to severe and useful survival strategies needed to endure a few of the most difficult terrains, for either half-day sessions (3 to 4 hours), 24-hour and eight-hour alternatives.
Activities consist of how to make a fire in the wild, developing emergency situation shelters, discovering the very best methods to use a knife for survival, medical injury treatment, navigation strategies and severe weather condition survival.
When it comes to the camps, there will be a 20-container lodging, set to welcome visitors in 2021.
Each camp is developed to host approximately 3 visitors with standard self-catering. You get a personal barbecue on a personal outside balcony to prepare meals.
